A civil engineering office for civil engineering license renewal was awarded $3,099,946.65 by the Texas Commission on Civil Engineers (TCCE) on Friday, March 20, according to the Texas Public Information Act.
The Civil Engineering office will continue to work with Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the state Department of Public Safety (DPS) to evaluate and implement all civil engineering practices to improve public safety and to promote public safety.
The civil engineering licenses are used by all Texas counties and cities to regulate certain construction, construction work, civil engineering and general civil engineering.
Civil Engineers in Texas are awarded civil engineering certificates that are valid for five years, while their commercial licenses are valid up to two years.
Commercial license renewal is now open for the TCE.
Commercial civil engineering has a maximum life of two years and commercial construction license renewal for both commercial and general license renewals are now open.
