Civil engineers are looking to pass a 2020 civil engineering degree.
This means they will need to have a high school diploma, a GED, a 3.0 GPA, a minimum GPA of 2.5 and an ACT score of at least 70.
Civil engineers are also required to have completed a minimum of three years of training in civil engineering and have an associate degree in engineering from a local college or university.
The certification exams are usually held in the spring and fall.
In 2020, civil engineers will also be required to pass the state’s certification exam for the State Firefighter Academy.
Civil engineers have been in training for more than a decade and must pass the certification exam in order to work in the state fire department.
The State Fire Department requires the Civil Engineering Certification Board to certify civil engineers by the end of 2020.
Civil engineering certification has been available since 2009 and was first made mandatory by the State Board of Education.
To take the Civil Engineer Certification exam, civil engineering students must be in high school by the deadline and have completed at least three years worth of training.
The minimum GPA is 2.3.
The ACT is at least 40 and a minimum score of 70 is required.
The State Board recommends that civil engineers pass the exam by December 2020.
